Financial Donations

Joy of a Toy depends completely on donations of private persons and organizations. We welcome every euro and we are proud to emphasize that no cent is being wasted. At the moment we have several donors on a regular base who grant us the opportunity to pay for the bigger part of the monthly regular costs of the project in Kalwala’s Village. We welcome of course every extra donor, no matter how big or small their contribution.

If you’re willing to subscribe as a donor of Joy of a Toy, please feel free. Every contribution can be transferred to our account 2266520, of Stichting Joy of a Toy, Maarssen-the Netherlands (Foundation Joy of a Toy in Maarssen).

People who want to become a regular donor, can do that in several ways. For us the easiest and cheapest way is to arrange, as a donor, your contribution as an automatic transfer at your own bank. Another possibility is downloading here the form for automatic collection. After printing and filling in the form one can send the form to Stichting Joy of a Toy, Boomstede 465, 3608 BH Maarssen - the Netherlands. This way you grant us the authorization to have the amount and the frequency of your choice being transferred from your to our account. Of course you can always withdraw that authorization at any moment.

Maybe it is good to know that Foundation Joy of a Toy is acknowledged by the Dutch Tax Authority as an Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling, an ANBI. This means that according to Dutch Tax Laws any donor of Joy of a Toy has the possibility of using the donations to Joy of a Toy as a deduction on one’s tax declaration.
Another way of donating to our Foundation which even grants more tax efficiency is the so called donation on a periodical base. Opting for that possibility one has to donate for a period of at least 5 years the same annual amount of the Foundation. And as additional demand one has to make an official registration of this donation at a solicitor. Advantages of this way of donating are the lacking of a tax threshold and a maximum of the tax deduction.
